It's no surprise that your personal assistant can be hacked. But by a laser that shines a light that the device interprets as a sound at a higher frequency that we can hear? Who would ever think of this? The only comfort is that it takes a very sophisticated piece of equipment for this to happen. So just pointing your ordinary laser at Alexa, Siri, or Google Home is not going to make it open your garage door or start your car. For now!
