Ever heard of Silicon Valley? In the 60's, 70's and 80's along with 128 here in Boston, it's where high tech got its start. Well you can watch an episode about it on TV starting tonight.

At one time, 128, the highway that stretches from the NorthShore Mall to the SouthShore Mall, had more software companies than Silicon Valley. Unfortunately, during the early 2000's, the entire 128 software industry just disappeared, leaving Silicon Valley, king of high tech.

Silicon is usually used to make computer chips. And computer chips are switches.
