Kevlar, the most valuable material that we never knew we needed. Certainly is useful for bulletproof vests and seems to be a good choice to reinforce sports equipment.

It's not necessarily a good idea to use kevlar in the football players helmets, because the players can get more agressive knowing that they got their head protected.

I'm not so sure using Kevlar to reinforce pads and helmets would be a good thing in the long run. Sure, it would help to decrease the number of concussions but might ultimately turn up the jets and make the game more aggressive overall.

i think the damn padding should stay the same they get paid millions none of the players should be complaining to be honest,and if they want the big bucks take the big hit thats just how football has always been and i think the sport is perfect,if the league gives the players new types of pads there only spending more money on men who make millions a year you got to be kidding me thats awful. you cant fix whats not broken and football is not broken go fix baseball or some other sport thats not worth watching

its a good idea to use kevlar but i still dont think it would prevent more headaches/concussions
