i dont think is right at all thats Invasion of property i dont think that they should not ask for the password i would not give my password to anyone thats just crazy .
It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that companies concerned about their reputations would expect, even demand, that employees, or even applicants, would provide this information to them. And in some areas, where there is a lot of responsiblily for public safety, for example, a prison guard or even an airline pilot, I wouldn't be surprised that this would be an absolute hiring requirement. Getting into some very murky water here.

i believe that it is your right as an american to be able to keep things private. it is an invasion of privacy. id delete my facebook before i give up my privacy
