ipaad is the best and i rather have that then a ghuge book
As much as the Ipad app for electronic textbooks looks cool and sexy. I doubt it will replace printed textbooks. First, after factoring in the cost of buying an Ipad at $500, e-textbooks will not be as inexpensive as touted. Second, as with e-publishing, when publishers no longer have to shoulder the costs of printing the publication, they generally do not pass the savings on to you. The cost of an e version of a textbook that costs 125.00 will probably be 112.00, surely not enough to warrant the expense for buying the hardware to view it easily in class.
