Well, I think that he makes a lot of sense. First, we can't be shuttling people back and forth to Mars at a cost of 80 billion a head. So why not start small, maybe sending some robots or setting up the field stations first on the Moon, then moving from there. I think this is the next viable step for NASA or any other space agency.
