Interesting article in yesterday's New York Times: War Machines: Recruiting Robots for Combat
Read about it @http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/28/science/28robot.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=robots%20war&st=cse
Check out the new generation of robotic weapons @http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/11/27/us/ROBOT.html?ref=science
What are the problems?
Any ethical issues?
What do you think?

It’s nice what they can com up to help them fight in war the things that they bill to help the soldiers and it's safer for the soldiers
thoserobots are nice dmac is smart enough to make one
This poses a very interesting dilemma. Yes soldiers would be safer when removed from the battle zone. However, I can see the risk of rushing headlong into a conflict if no soldiers would be killed or wounded.
