So if life is discovered on Mars, it won't be like the life we envision here on earth. Not human, animal or even plant based, it will only be bio signatures, evidence of old microbial activity. Really? Sounds kind of nerdy. Is that something that we should be spending all of the NASA budget on? And do we really want to visit a planet that it takes 9 months to get to and probably no way to get back from?
