I see a promising future for robotic pets, especially for people who cannot care for real ones. Robotic dogs or cats don't need to be fed or walked or cleaned up after and can still provide companionship for people who live alone or who cannot go out. I predict this will be a multi-million dollar business some day.
i think the robotic cat is a dumb idea because it doesn't give the same emotion as a real cat. just because its easier to maintain doesn't make it a substitute.
