10/25/19 WarmUp
Today's GrokIt:
We talked in an earlier GrokIt about using Thorium as a fuel in retrofitted nuclear reactors. Well there are other 'moonshot' ways of generating power:
Of all of the ways to generate energy in the future, I like the idea of using the nuclear waste by retrofitting the existing reactors with technology that will allow them to utilize the spent fuel rods just lying around each site. I also like the idea of growing algae to not only make oil but also to clean up our polluted water ways.
