Since it's against the law to use kidnapped children as jockeys in Abu Dhabi, the camel owners of course turned to technology (albeit low tech) to now have robots pilot their camels. While not exactly C3PO, these 'robots' are remote controlled to talk to the camel (why exactly?) and whip the camel (I get that!). Not exactly robosports but a step in the right direction!

ReplyDeleteI have no problem with it.
ReplyDeleteits not a good idea they shouldn't abuse the animals they should abuse themselves
ReplyDeletei dont like it.
ReplyDeleteI don't support animal racing of any kind because it is abusive to the animal.
ReplyDeleteI don't support animal racing its cruel and unfair to the animal they shouldn't be whipped by a robot.
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that they switched to robots from children was a good choice but as far as the state of the animal goes in any circumstance, it is still negative since they are being whipped and yelled at so they are forced to run due to fear
ReplyDeleteIts still animal cruelty even if kids arent being used it still isnt good
