I think that driverless cars is one of the most exciting applications of computer science so far. Imagine that software development married to computer technolgy allows a car to travel without human assistance.
But what implications does using this technology raise?
Will driverless cars need a driver just in case?
Will cars be allowed to drive by themselves?
And how about applied to other forms of transportation? Trains? Planes?
